JENNIFER ZIEBA, PH.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
Molecular & Human Genetics
Baylor College of Medicine
Dr. Zieba is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Brendan Lee lab in the field of molecular human genetics studying rare genetic disease and musculoskeletal development/disorders. Her research career has taken her through several institutions throughout the United States including University of Southern California, WIL research, University of Chicago, UCLA, Masaryk University, and now Baylor College of medicine with much of her training funded through NIH fellowships. Dr. Zieba's research has involved the study of population genetics in the context of marine biology, genomic/epigenomic landscapes in drosophila, the molecular biology and pathophysiology of rare musculoskeletal disease in humans and mice, as well as CRISPR based genome-wide analysis of the effect of signaling on chromosomal instability in the context of osteosarcoma.
