Dr. Wang is the newest member of the Pediatric Research Center joining the faculty in December 2018. She received her PhD degree in 2010, subsequently completed her postdoctoral training and became an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in 2014. Her research focuses on delineating the molecular signals regulating craniofacial and cardiac development, diseases and regeneration. She uses a combination of state-of-the-art methodologies, including different mouse techniques, physiology studies, and next generation sequencing techniques. She has given numerous invited talks and chaired sessions at national and international conferences.
