JONATHAN ANDREWS, PH.D.

Postdoctoral Associate
Molecular & Human Genetics
Baylor College of Medicine

Dr. Andrews is a postdoctoral researcher at Baylor College of Medicine. His research focuses on the genetic and molecular mechanisms which underlie autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and how the formation and maintenance of neuronal circuits may contribute to ASD. Dr. Andrews has also contributed to the analysis of cases within the Undiagnosed Disease Network, where he has been successful in identifying subtle changes in the behavior of Drosophila models of human disease. In 2018 Dr. Andrews received the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (F32) to develop his research into the shared molecular mechanisms of ASD and sleep disorders.
